Not far from Keramoti, many remarkable archaeological sites can also be found which are strongly recommended to be visited. Some of which are Phillippi and Thasos at the prefecture of Kavala, as well as ancient Avdira at the prefecture of Xanthi. Furthermore, the landmarks of Kavala, the castle and the aqueduct can also be visited. Visitors will also be given the chance to wander around the streets of the old town of Kavala and Xanthi whilst travelling through to a different time and era.
As far as the lovers of winter sports are concerned, ‘FalakroSkiCenter’ in prefecture of Drama consists one of the finest and most organised ski centers in Greece and it is approximately an hour and a half away from our village.
